Royal Ulster Academy Intaglio Printmaking
RUA Printmakimg play day 🙂
I felt that I’d returned to childhood bliss as fingers (and noses ) grubbed up with ink and new discoveries came fast. The intaglio technique was a magical revelation to me. Penny Brewill was a buoyant, gentle, remarkable teacher. I chose to work on a cosmos image from memory. Some months ago I dreamed that I was participant in a print workshop, surrounded by inspired women. The next day I received a message telling me about this course. The cosmos image too had come to me in a dream. Full circles. I brought a series of fledgling prints back to the studio to be hand finished with a paint. Will post pictures of them when finished.
