"We were filming local artist Claire Falconer and she was telling us why she’d decided to leave California and return to Enniskillen. I could see through the studio window the green tossing trees of the town, the surging river and cavorting clouds, and I was reminded how towns are small enough to stay in touch with their natural surroundings, and that it’s preserving contact with the countryside that helps to bring so much vitality to urban streets."
